And Welcome Aboard to all of our new subscribers!
We're picking up more and more every day!
As most of you already know, back
in January of this year, I started a new "Internet
Business Coaching" service where I help aspiring
new people to the Internet, or even people with some Internet marketing
experience, get their own work-at-home Internet business up to the
point where they are beginning to show some
results from their efforts.
I'm currently involved with
putting together an e-mail course that is
basically aimed to the "Newbies" to help them get
their own work at home Internet based business off
to a good running start.
I'm also working on getting my
very own new product called, "Newbies Guide To
Online Fortunes" set up with a special web page
and will include some very nice bonuses along with
a very special price.
I'll be letting you know when I
get that project into the "Pre-Launch" stage and
as usual, it will be offered, for a limited time

I don't know about you, but I
don't particularly like using the term, "Newbie"
but when you stop to think about it, everyone has

So, as you can tell, I may be
retired from the working life, but I'm still
keeping myself pretty busy with all of my Internet
projects I've got going on.
BTW,
I've taken
some pictures of the condo complex where we live
and a lot of our wildlife neighbors (our pets). I

uploaded to my server.

Affiliate marketing
programs can do wonders for an entrepreneur
looking to have success online. When you talk
with people online, you will hear an equal
amount of people who have failed and
succeeded.
The difference between the
two is minimal, but there are some simple
mistakes that can be costly.
Here are 5 affiliate
program mistakes to avoid.
1. Not having a plan:
With the Internet changing
as frequently as it does, it is essential that
you have a plan of some sort. While your plan
is certain to change with the Internet, having
a plan will prepare you for what is to come.
If you know where you want to take your
affiliate program, bumps and curves along the
road will only momentarily throw you off.
2. Selling the program:
It can become quite easy to
get caught up in the game and begin to sell
the program as opposed to the product itself.
What you have to realize is that you are going
to make your money from commissions after
selling the product. Too many people sign up
and then attempt to sign up as many other
people up as they can. While it is perfectly
fine to try to sign people up you are not
going to get rich from second-tier
commissions. Stick to where the money can be
made.
3. Going through the motions:
There is nothing worse than
a salesman that is going through the motions
and appears to be looking at a sheet of paper
with guidelines. If you want to have any
success at all with an affiliate program, you
have to have passion and believe in what you
are selling. This is not to say that every
person you talk to is going to sign up or
purchase something. But you will sound so much
more convincing if you believe in what you are
saying.
4. Moving to quickly:
While time is money on the
Internet, each customer is potential money as
well. Take the time to talk with prospects so
that you leave a lasting impact on them.
Jumping from one customer to the next too
quickly will do nothing for you. If you show
each prospect that you truly care about them
and their needs, they will be more inclined to
listen. From there, you can sell your product
on a more personal level and give them reasons
for how your product can truly benefit them.
5. Be yourself:
The last thing you want to
do is create a typical affiliate program page
to sell from. This looks too automated and far
too much of a cliche. If you want to have
success, personalize your page and show people
you are an individual. There are thousands of
affiliate program sites that are identical;
mix things up and make yours stand out.
While there are hundreds of things you can and
should try to avoid with marketing your
affiliate program, try not to get too caught
up in worrying about these things.
You are going to make
mistakes, but try to move on without a
hesitation. There are always a few mistakes
you may encounter along the way. But as long
as you remain confident and goal-oriented, you
will set yourself up for success with
affiliate marketing.

A Work at Home Business Requires Discipline

Choosing to have a work
at home Internet business is a great step
towards achieving self-reliance and
financial independence. But often times when
people start working from home their level
of productivity drops.
Why is this and what can
be done to change it?
Most people's productivity at work is a
direct reflection of their peer group there.
At work you had many people on which to
compare your level of productivity against.
Now that you are working
from your home you often have no measure of
how productive you are, so most people's
activity levels drop.
Also, while at home there are many
distractions during the day, which can lead
you astray. Television, newspapers,
Internet, phone calls, and laundry all lead
you astray from your good intentions to get
work done.
On key thing you can do to increase your
productivity is to plan your day out, and
write what you want to achieve for that day
and stick to your plan.
Some activities require
a certain amount of time to be put into it,
while for other activities you need to
achieve a specific outcome.
Often times it is better
to set daily goals as specific outcomes,
otherwise if you just set time limits, the
level of importance for that activity swells
to fit the time you gave it when instead you
might have been finished earlier with better
results if you had focused on the outcome
rather than the time put in.
Another tip to feel more productive at home
is to dress like you are going to the
office. Every morning, get up, shower, and
put on office clothes.
Wearing your work
clothes will put you into a different state
of mind and will make you more productive.
This will be a clue to your mind that now it
is time to work.
Having a designated office area is another
important thing. If you can have a room that
doesn't have a bed in it that would be
great. Also, make sure your office is clean
and neat and try to work with the door
closed.
Also, many people who work from home feel
shut in. It is important to get out of the
house a couple of times during the day and
go for a walk or drive. Going to the mall is
great for a quick walk and seeing people.
If you decide you really can't work from
home; look into renting cheap office space
somewhere. In many office buildings you can
find a room to rent somewhere, which is much
cheaper than renting a whole office.
Working from home is great if you have the
discipline to keep at it. It takes
consistency and drive just like any other
job, but it can be a great experience.

do list for tomorrow today.
