And Welcome Aboard to all of our new subscribers!
We're picking up more and more every day!
Well, we're back from vacation and
getting back to business. We had a wonderful time
up in the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
My son has a nineteen acre plot of
land right out in the middle of the Wharton State
Forest and he has it set up almost like his own
little private wildlife refuge.
We would sit out in the yard in
the evenings and the deer and wild turkeys and all
kinds of different wildlife critters would come
out of the woods to feed in Jerry's yard. He puts
out all different kinds of feed for them.
We also had a very nice bar-b-que
on Saturday and had a chance to visit with family
and friends. Some of the friends that showed up
are one's that we have not seen since we moved to
Florida 14 yrs. ago.
Jerry had this all planned in
advance and he never told us that some of these
people would be at the bar-b-que and it was really
a nice surprise to us.
On Friday evening, we attended my
50 year class re-union and had a chance to meet
and talk with a lot of friends that I have not
seen since I graduated high school way back in
1958.
OPPS! I just gave away my age. Oh
well, it was a heck of a lot of fun and we really
enjoyed ourselves.
I've taken
some pictures of the condo complex where we live
and a lot of our wildlife neighbors (our pets). I
put them all on a special web page I've built and
uploaded to my server.
Okay, I have written a couple of
very interesting as well as informative articles
for you in today's edition.
Today's feature article, "How
To Create Residual Income Using Affiliate
Marketing" gives you
some very good tips on how to get a good start to
building those all important residual income
streams
that all of the guru's tell you that you must have
to make any income.
The second article, "How
To Set Yourself Apart in Affiliate Marketing" gives you some tips on things you should do to get
your affiliate marketing efforts producing an

How To Create
Residual Income Using Affiliate Marketing

The light bulb has finally
started flashing in your head and you realize
that you need to create a residual income
stream to start makeing money on
the Internet.
You've read hundreds of
articles on the subject and sought expert
advice. You've heard all the stories of people
creating a profitable business with residual
income streams.
With that light bulb still flashing away you
finally decide to do something about it -
start your own residual income stream.
But how do you get started?
It has already been
established that affiliate marketing is one of
the quickest and easiest ways to make money
from your own home based business.
The products creator erases the need for
research and development. You, as the
affiliate, have only to deal with the
marketing end. In most cases the merchant will
even provide sales material for you.
This is great for fast profits, but what about
the long term?
Think about this for a minute. The affiliate
does all the work on getting interested
prospects to the product sales page through
their affiliate link. Hopefully the prospect
buys and the affiliate gains the commission.
But what happens after that?
The affiliate must then repeat the process all
over again to bring more prospects into their
sales pipeline. All for a one off sale and
commission.
This can turn into a costly proposition
depending on the cost of getting the leads to
the sales page and the conversion ratio of
said sales page.
With that in mind, what can an affiliate do to
increase their return on leads and qualified
prospects?
Two things.
First, as an affiliate marketer in any niche
you must set up your own lead capture page and
build your own list of targeted prospects.
This can be done simply by using an
autoresponder to capture names and email
addresses that is set up with seven to ten
follow up messages extolling the benefits of
the product you are promoting.
Give away a free report or a review of the
product as an enticement for the prospect to
leave their information.
This way you can send endorsements of other
related products as well if they don't like
the original product.
Second, find membership sites or services to
promote in your particular niche.
This is a truly spectacular way to maximize
your advertising by gaining recurring income
instead of a one-time sale.
Think about what is happening right now with
cell phones. You can purchase a phone with all
the bells and whistles - camera, Internet
ready, text messaging - the works for very
cheap. Heck, you can even find some going in a
two for one deal.
So what is the catch?
You have to sign up for two years of service.
That is where they make their cash.
The recurring income model!!
In other words, a residual income stream.
Once you get started on
setting up your residual income streams,
you'll find it is really easy to get more and
more of them set up and then you can sit back
and watch the money pour into your bank
account.
That is what you, as an
affiliate marketer, should be looking to
promote.

$100 a day, as it is to make $5 a day. That's
especially true when you already have money
rolling in from previous sales.

Affiliate marketing is
one of the best ways to quickly make money
from your own home-based Internet business.
The reasons for this are many, including the
facts that you skip the research and
development stage, the product creation and
the copywriting for not only the sales page
but all the subsequent ads.
By not having to invest
in these early stages of product development
you save not only money but time as well.
This leaves you, as the affiliate, the task
of simply marketing the chosen product or
service.
Easy enough, right?
Well my friend, this is where it gets a
little sticky.
The fact is that there are many people just
like you entering the Internet ring every
day looking for the so-called easy dollar.
And since that is
exactly what affiliate marketing promises,
there is a lot of competition for the same
buck in most niches.
The trick to affiliate success, no matter
which market or niche you may choose, is to
separate yourself from all the other
affiliates who are using the exact same
marketing materials as you are.
One note of caution - make sure to check the
affiliate rules for each program to verify
that the tactics listed here are permitted.
The first order of business is to get your
own web site along with a domain name
closely associated with the niche of choice.
For example, if you are
targeting the home stereo niche you may want
to choose something like
www.homestereoguide.com or the like.
Next, you will want to find a template that
you can use as a basis of your site.
It
is very important that the look and feel of
your site stays consistent through out the
site if you have more than one page.
Here is where you will really set yourself
apart from all the other affiliates.
Write a special report or
review of the product or service you are
going to promote. This is the real focus of
your marketing, getting this document out to
as many prospects as possible.
This piece should be given away as an
enticement for the prospects name and e-mail
address, which should be left in an
autoresponder.
Set up several messages,
optimally 7 to 10, to go out at 2 to 3 day
intervals. Each message should give an
explanation of the benefits derived from the
product along with your affiliate link.
The autoresponder form should be prominently
displayed on all of the pages of your site
along with the sales pitch telling your
visitors why they should download the free
report.
You can easily set this
up in a sidebar on the template of choice,
usually on the left hand side.
By building this list of potential buyers
you can communicate with them as often as
you want.
Send them alerts when a
new product comes out, when upgrades are
available to existing products or when sales
on their favorite products are being
offered.
There are many reasons to build your list
but
by offering a special report you label
yourself as an expert in your field,
you thus set yourself apart from all the
other affiliates.
