Hi everyone,

Don't know if you saw the much-hyped show finale of The Sopranos. The ending left a lot of people hanging, wondering if Tony gets whacked or not.

The show concluded with a lot of uncertainty. The audience didn't know what happened to Tony, and now they may never know.

Would Tony have gotten whacked?

Tony was on a self-destructive path because he couldn't and wouldn't change his behavior. If he didn't get shot he probably would have landed in jail according to the story line.

Luckily, in real life, we all have the ability to make the changes that can shape our future.

Here's how this relates to internet marketing.

Ask yourself this question:

If you aren't as successful as you want to be right now, will you be more successful in a month?

That fully depends on whether you are taking actions to be more successful.

If you continue current behavior, you should expect current results.

We won't get whacked or land in jail, but our income can take a whack if we don't learn the business.

Maybe Tony couldn't change because he was in the mob. But we can change how we act, what we do and what we know.

Okay, I don't want to take up a bunch of your time with my ramblings, so I'll let you get on with reading today's edition.

5 Easy Steps for Writing an Article that Gets Top Results

You may not know it, but you have an easy way to bring targeted traffic to your site. You can write articles for publication in ezines that will continue to bring you traffic to your site long after they appear online. Just think of this as an unstoppable traffic generator for your online business.

You do not have to be a Hemingway to be a great article writer. There are some basic rules to follow though. Here are 5 steps to writing a good article that will attract attention and result in more traffic and sales for your business.

ACTION STEP 1 - Create A Hot Title

You must grab the attention of the reader first. People scan everything before they commit to reading it. Let them know what the article is about in a way that makes them want to dig into it for more information. Two classic ways to make a good title are to use a "How to" format, such as, "How To Get A Base Hit 7 Times Out Of Ten", and the "Tips" format, which might go something like this: "5 Super Easy Tips To Relieve Stress".

ACTION STEP 2 - Get Your Reader's Attention With An Interesting Opening Sentence

The next most important part of writing your article is to grab the reader with a powerful first sentence. This will keep them interested and wanting more information. Two of the best ways to hook your reader is to ask a question or to state a fact.

A question should make the reader curious to find out the answer by finishing the article. If you state a fact, you must make it the basis for the rest of your article.

ACTION STEP 3 - Discuss The Main Points In The Body Of The Article

Here is where you provide the content of your article, and the solutions to the problem that you are solving for the reader. Your purpose here is to educate and inform. Address each problem and follow it with the solution. Or if you are giving tips to your reader, you can list each tip in the order that best solves their problem.

ACTION STEP 4 - Summary and Ask Your Reader To Take Action

Always include a brief summary for maximum results. Then tell your reader why it is important for them to take action now. Give a benefit or two as an incentive for them to respond now. This can be a link to your website or newsletter. After all, this was the primary purpose of your article.

ACTION STEP 5 - Include A Powerful Resource Box After Your Article

You absolutely need to make a resource box promoting your website, e-Book, e-Course or affiliate program. The resource box gives the reader another way to get more information. This will spur the traffic to your promotion as more people read your article. Create a resource box that tells who you are and what you are offering to the reader. This should take no more than 3-6 lines of text.

These 5 steps will ensure that you have an article that people will want to read and then visit your website. Just use this easy 5-step format and simply fill in the details with your own information. Then distribute your articles to ezine and newsletter publishers in your business niche. The result will be more targeted traffic and increased visibility for your business.

10 Ways to Grab a Skimmer's Attention

People don't have much time to read your sales letters and would rather skim them. They will scan your letter and read only those parts that catches their eyes.

Is the solution to have a short one? No, it's not. Generally, long sales letters convert better. You will have more time to present the features and benefits of your product and convince your readers to buy.

If a short sales letter is not the solution, how, then, do you grab the attention of a skimmer so they can read all the important aspects of your sales letter?

The following are ways that can help you make them read further:

1. Create a good first impression.

Your ad copy should look professional. It should make the reader feel that your letter is worth reading. A misspelled word in your heading can turn off a potential customer. Why would one buy from you if you don't take care of details? What will your customer expect from your products, or even your support to the product later on?

2. Use a lot of headlines and sub-headlines to easily catch your visitors' attention.

Expand on the benefits and features of your product. Have a sub-headline on each benefit. Your readers may want to read further if they find your headlines and sub-headlines interesting.

3. Use pictures or graphics that show your product and bonuses.

They will make your product more concrete to your visitors. Pictures and graphics also easily attract eyeballs.

4. Be sure your graphics load fast and correctly.

People don't want to wait. This is true especially if your graphics are at the top of your sales letter, and your whole web site will only be shown after downloading those pictures.

5. Use short sentences or sentence fragments.

It is easier to read and understand short sentences than long ones. By just looking at the length of your sentences, the visitor will know the degree of difficulty in reading your sales letter.

6. Use color, bold, italics, underlining to highlight important words and phrases.

However, use them sparingly. Too much of them may look like you are in hysterics and will turn away potential buyers.

Use highlighting near the area where you want to have your visitors read more. You may want them to read the features or benefits of your product.

7. Pick the three most powerful and appealing benefits of your product and repeat them in various parts of your sales letter.

This will help your visitors to easily remember these benefits. Just be sure to rewrite them, so it won't appear that you just copied and pasted them in your ad copy.

8. Use bullets to list the features and benefits of your product.

Bullets make reading easier, making your visitor want to read more.

9. Use a "P.S."/"P.P.S."/etc. at the end.

This is some of the most read section of a sales letter. You may repeat the strong point of your product, remind the bonuses included, or emphasize the urgency for the prospect to make an action.

10. With a long sales letter, place buy buttons at different places throughout the letter.

Your prospect may have been convinced to buy, so provide them with the opportunity to do so.

People are in a hurry to quickly get over reading a sales letter.

Unless something catches their eyes, they would just skim over the letter and go on to the next site. They might miss the important points, and you lose them as customers.

However, with the optimal use of eye-catching techniques, you may be able to have them read more, and convince them to click on that buy button. After all, isn't that your ultimate goal?

We use a "Double Opt-In" subscription system which means there are TWO steps to complete before you are added to our mailing list.

Step # 1

Scroll down to our little form below and enter your first name and your primary email address

Step # 2

Within seconds after you click on the button at the bottom of the form, you will receive a Confirmation email from us. You must open that email and actually click on the Confirmation link you will see in the body of that email to complete your subscription request.

That's all there is to it! Nothing complicated about it.

Due to the many IP and Email SPAM filters in effect nowadays, your welcome email may be blocked.

Try to avoid using Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail email accounts.

If you are using spam blockers such as SpamArrest, Earthlink, SpamBully, FilterMy, KnowSpam, etc., make sure to take the necessary steps to ensure emails go through.

If you do not receive your welcome email, please check your trash/spam folders and if not found please contact us again.

To ensure you receive your welcome email, please add these email addresses to your email address white list on your email program.
