finally reached the 1475 mark. That's one heck of a
milestone for us.

since we have last published this e-zine.
Okay, as I told you
in the last edition, I have several new projects
I'm working on and one of them is a big TEN YEAR
ANNIVERSARY sale of several new products I've
acquired recently. There will also be some of
my own products I've been working on for the last
few months that will be released to the public for
the first time.
I hadn't even
thought about it, but my wife reminded me the
other day that 2008 is our ten year anniversary of
working online in Internet Marketing and we have
come a looooonnnng way since we first got started
way back in 1998.
I'll get into more
of the details on some of the upcoming projects in
the next edition which is scheduled to be
published on Friday, March 21st.
I would also
strongly recommend that you keep a close watch on
your e-mail inbox for some major announcements

Okay, one other
little quick item I wanted to mention. I will be
taking off a little time next week, on Monday,
Feb. 11th, to be exact, because it is my 67th
birthday and my wife and I will be celebrating it
with a few friends.

Article Marketing Plus
Affiliate Marketing Add-Up to Big Profits

Writing articles
is an excellent way to not only build your
reputation as an expert in your field but also
a good way to build profits into any affiliate
program you are promoting.
The key is to
write an informative article without having it
sound like an advertisement.
There are several ways to incorporate your
affiliate links in an article submitted for
publication. The most common and acceptable
way to do this is by including a short bio of
yourself as author of the article along with a
link to the site of your choice.
This will usually include you expressing
yourself as an expert and suggesting that your
readers go to a certain site for more
information.
You can also just
tell readers that as an expert you highly
recommend this certain product and have used
it yourself.
This is called the author resource box and is
standard practice with almost all article
directories and submission sites.
If you are
submitting to individual sites make sure to
include a disclaimer along with your article
that the resource box must be included if the
article is to be republished in any blog,
ezine or newsletter.
But another, albeit sneakier, way is to write
a review of a certain product or service and
tell the reader that they can have a look at
the product by following the link in the
article.
Many article directories will allow up to
three such links within each article as long
as the article itself is not just a blatant
advertisement for said product.
This can work to your benefit as you may join
several different affiliate programs within
the same niche and do a comparison between
them and include your link for each.
Another approach that works great is to weave
your affiliate links into your articles by
simply being creative with the wording.
By just describing a product or service within
your article and using an affiliate link to
take your readers to a page as an example that
can better describe your points will more
likely be accepted and also greatly increase
the chances of the readers clicking on your
affiliate links.
Research has proven that the most effective
affiliate links are text links. They far
exceed banners and flash animations when it
comes to click through rates.
By adding these
links into your articles and distributing them
across the web and also using them on your own
sites and blogs you will see more clicks and
more affiliate sales.

How To Set Up File Folders In Your Inbox

Here's a little tip that I use all the time to
keep my Outlook Express inbox from looking like an
e-mail dump.
When I first got
started in Internet Marketing, I soon realized
that I was receiving literally tons of e-mails
from the various mailing lists that I was
subscribing to at the time.
Among all of those
incoming e-mails, I soon discovered that there
were quite a few individual e-mails I wanted to
keep for future reference.
So I went on an
organizing campaign to set up various folders for
the different e-mails I wanted to keep but still
not clutter up my inbox.
I've found that this
little trick works pretty much the same in almost
all of the various kinds of e-mail clients
available today.
Okay, let's get
started organizing your e-mail inbox.
When you open Outlook
Express, in most cases, you'll see the page is
divided into two separate sections.
In the
left side you should see the words "Local Folders"
and then below that should be the word "Inbox".
If you RIGHT CLICK
on the word "Inbox", you'll get a little pop up
menu that gives you several choices.
You
will want to LEFT CLICK on the "New Folder"
option. When you do that, you should get another
little pop up menu that will allow you to name the
new folder you are creating.
When
you have named the new folder, just click on the
"OK" button and your new folder will now appear on
the left side of the page below your Inbox folder.
I have mine set up
with a "Personal E-mails" folder and a folder for
all of my business e-mails.
Of course, I have the
folder for my business e-mails broken down even
further with a separate folder for each of the
various programs and/or mailing lists I'm
subscribed to.
I would be willing to
venture a guess and say that I probably have close
to a hundred separate folders, or maybe even more,
set up under the general category of "My Business
Information" folder.
In the next edition,
I'll show you how you can have your e-mail program
do all of your filing of your incoming e-mails for
you and relieve you of the time consuming task of
physically moving each individual e-mail to the
proper folder.
You will be surprised
to see how much time this little tip will save you
and also help you keep from deleting an important
e-mail that you decided you wanted to keep for
future reference.

Costly E-mail Mistakes That You Need to

Most of us
cannot live without e-mails, as they are the
primary mode of communication these days.
However, if an
e-mail program is not used the way it should
be, it can cause a lot of problems for you.
Outlook is one of the most widely used
e-mail programs.
That is why, if
you have it on your computer, you should try
to make an effort to learn its features,
especially the Junk Filter feature. It has
many keywords and symbols that are generally
used for filtering out spam e-mails.
Outlook is an
e-mail client that can be used very
effectively, if you know the keywords and
how to use them. This should solve the
problem of e-mails ending as spam, when they
are not.
E-mail marketing is hot these days and it
can be very expensive to run an e-mail
marketing campaign.
However, there
are many marketers who think that an e-mail
list that does not cost too much can show
good results. Although most experts concur
that a more expensive list ends giving
better results because of the quality of the
leads.
In addition, a
low quality e-mail list has negative
repercussions, as it affects your brand
identity.
It has also been seen that many newsletters
sent via e-mail do not have compelling
subject lines. This means that the
recipients are not inclined to open and read
such newsletters, no matter how compelling
the content might be.
Therefore, it is
in your interest to be sure that you have an
attention-grabbing subject line, so that
potential readers are curious enough to
check out what you have to offer them. This
will definitely increase your readership and
will give you a better return on your
investment (ROI).
Another aspect of email marketing is the
target link. This link might work in one
e-mail client, but not in another.
For example, if
you want to mention your company's name in
the "From" line, some e-mail programs may
actually end up displaying your company's
e-mail address, rather than the name.
In other words,
the content of an e-mail can be easily
manipulated by an e-mail client, and you
need to check this out, as it can have a
tremendous impact on your e-mail marketing
results.
Also, results have shown that an e-mail
campaign is successful if it's promoting a
persuasive offer. This does not necessarily
translate to a free offer or heavy
discounts.
The offer should
be useful to the reader and fulfill some
requirements he or she has.
Remember the
age-old adage: one shoe does not fit all.
That's why your
offer has to be developed based on the needs
and requirements of your e-mail list.
Another mistake that many e-mail marketers
end up doing is not monitoring the results
of the e-mail campaign.
Nearly all ISPs
have issues when it comes to SPAM, HTML
compatibility, blacklisting, mass e-mails,
etc. You will only figure out such issues if
you constantly monitor your ISP.
Lastly, if you also intend to publish the
newsletter on your website, do not forget to
optimize it for the search engines.
This means
having relevant keywords inserted in
appropriate content, so that you can
increase your website ranking in the search
engines.

We use a "Double Opt-In"
subscription system which means there are TWO steps
to complete before you are added to our mailing
list.
Step # 1
Scroll down to our little form below and enter your
first name and your primary email address
Step # 2
Within seconds after you click on the button at the
bottom of the form, you will receive a Confirmation
email from us. You must open that email and actually
click on the Confirmation link you will see in the
body of that email to complete your subscription
request.
That's all there is to it! Nothing complicated about

Due to the many IP and Email SPAM filters
in effect
nowadays, your welcome email may be blocked.
Try to avoid using Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail

necessary steps to ensure emails go through.
If you do not receive your welcome email, please
check your trash/spam folders and if not found
please contact us again.
To ensure you receive your welcome email, please add
these email addresses
to your
email address white list on your email
program.
(Note: Please be sure to replace the [at] with @
and remove the spaces, or else the email
addresses won't work. They are put here like that to
help prevent robots from harvesting the email
addresses and using them to send out spam)
so please make sure that you subscribe
with your valid e-mail address that you check on a
regular basis.
